Questions, answered.

Does it work with the eWeLink app I already use for Sonoff?

Yes - that's the whole point. It's officially eWeLink-compatible and gets added the same way as your Sonoff devices. It does not work with Smart Life / Tuya, so make sure to pick the eWeLink version.

What happens when EDL cuts and comes back?

In eWeLink, open the device settings, scroll to "Power-on State" and set it to "Last State." When EDL returns, the circuit goes back to exactly the on/off state it was in before. Wi-Fi reconnects automatically once your router is back.

Can it handle my water heater, AC or oven?

Yes. It's rated up to 63A - a typical water heater draws 10–15A, an AC unit 6–12A, an oven 15–20A, all well within range. It also works for solar systems and sewage pumps.

Do I need an electrician to install it?

You need basic electrical knowledge: turn off the main, swap the breaker, mount it on the DIN rail, connect Live and Neutral. If that sounds fine, you can do it yourself. If not, any electrician can handle it in about 10 minutes.

Can I set a custom amperage so it trips at a specific limit?

Yes. The eWeLink app lets you set your own current limit. When usage crosses that line, the breaker trips automatically - useful for protecting older wiring or expensive appliances.

Can the whole family control it?

Yes - share access with a second eWeLink account so the whole household can control circuits, without anyone sharing logins.

What if I want to remove it later?

It swaps back to a normal breaker exactly the way it went in. Standard DIN rail, single-pole, single-phase - no special hardware needed.
