How much current can it handle?

The 16A version handles standard water heaters, ACs, and ovens. It runs 220V.

Can the probe reach my water heater if it’s far from the switch?

Yes — the sensor cable can be extended up to 25 meters using a regular phone cable or Cat6 ethernet cable. Plenty of slack for most setups.

Does it measure how much electricity my appliance uses?

No — this is a temperature/humidity monitor, not a power meter. If you want power monitoring on the same circuit, pair this with a Sonoff S60 plug or use a smart breaker.

Does it work if my internet is down?

Yes. LAN control means automations keep running locally even with no internet — you just can’t control it from outside the house until the connection comes back.

Can I still use it manually if Wi-Fi is down?

Yes — there’s a physical button on the device that switches the load on/off, regardless of Wi-Fi state.

Can it be installed outdoors?

No — the relay is not waterproof. Install it indoors or in a protected enclosure. The temperature probe (e.g. WTS01) is waterproof and can be placed outdoors.
