Smart Switches

Smart switch
Replaces the wall switch and controls whatever is wired to it. Needs wiring behind the plate.
Smart bulb
Screws into the existing fitting, with no wiring. The wall switch must stay on.

Choose this if you only need on and off. It works only if your AC starts again by itself when power comes back.

Automating your roller shutters is simpler than you think, and the benefits are worth it. Set your shutters to open automatically at 7 AM to let in sunlight, and close in the evening for privacy and comfort. With a tap on your phone or a voice command through Siri or Alexa, you can open or close your shutters whenever you want. Sonoff devices work with Alexa and Google Home through the eWeLink app, and Apple Home works with Matter models. Each product page lists what it works with.

If you want to monitor the water temperature of your heater, the Sonoff TH Elite 16A paired with the Sonoff Waterproof Temperature Sensor gives you real-time temperature readings on your phone. If you do not need temperature tracking, a smart circuit breaker is your best choice – it also shows how much electricity the heater uses. We have it for the eWeLink app and for the Smart Life app.
⚠ Important: use a contactor for a water heater
A water heater draws a lot of power. For safety and long-term durability, we always recommend using a contactor with Sonoff devices. The contactor carries the heavy load, and the smart switch only turns the contactor on and off. Ask your electrician to fit one when they wire the switch.

If your gate or garage door already has a motor with a push button, a dry contact relay can press that button for you from your phone. It is wired into the motor’s control board, so ask your electrician or gate installer to fit it.

Questions
Where should I start?
Start with one room or one problem, such as the water heater, the air conditioner or the front door, and add more later. If you are not sure, send us a message on WhatsApp and we will help you choose.
Do I need a hub for my smart home?
Not for Wi-Fi devices. They connect straight to your home router and work in the brand app. Zigbee devices, such as many Sonoff sensors, need a Zigbee bridge that connects them to your Wi-Fi. Zigbee models say Zigbee or ZB in the name.
Is the Zigbee bridge hard to set up?
No. It needs no wiring. Plug the bridge into power, add it to your Wi-Fi in the eWeLink app, then add each Zigbee device to the bridge in the same app. The bridge needs a 5V USB power adapter, which is not in the box.
Which apps do the devices use, and are they free?
Sonoff devices use the free eWeLink app, Govee lights use the Govee Home app, and BroadLink controllers use the BroadLink app. You can link eWeLink and Govee Home to Alexa or Google Home for voice control.
Do the devices work with Alexa, Google Home or Apple Home?
Sonoff devices link to Alexa and Google Home through the eWeLink app. Apple Home works only with Matter models. Each product page lists what it works with.
Can I control my home when I am away?
Yes. Wi-Fi devices, and Zigbee devices on a bridge, work from the app wherever you are, as long as your home internet is on. Bluetooth-only devices work only when your phone is nearby.
Who installs in-wall switches and smart breakers?
Modules that go inside the wall box, and smart breakers, connect to your home wiring, so an electrician should install them. You can tick the installation option at checkout and we will check installation availability.
How can I control my air conditioner from my phone?
An infrared controller, such as the BroadLink RM4 Mini, sends the same commands as your AC remote, so you can change the temperature and mode from your phone. It needs no installer: plug it in, add it in the BroadLink app and choose your AC brand.
