Govee TV Backlight 3 Lite — for 55-65″ TVs
A camera-based TV backlight, sized specifically for 55-65″ televisions. A small camera mounts on top of your TV and watches what’s on screen — Netflix, YouTube, your PlayStation, live football — and a 3.6-meter LED strip behind the TV projects matching colors onto your wall in real time.
The result: your wall glows in sync with what’s happening on screen, with no perceptible delay. Movies become immersive. Gaming feels bigger. Even casual TV gets a cinema-quality atmosphere.
Why people buy it
- Eye strain relief. Watching a bright TV in a dark room is hard on your eyes — the ambient glow around it softens the contrast significantly.
- Cinema-room feeling. The wall colors blend with the screen so the picture feels like it extends beyond the TV.
- Works with all content. No special “compatible apps” needed — the camera doesn’t care if it’s Netflix, gaming, cable, or YouTube.
- Connect to other Govee lights. If you already have Govee floor lamps or strip lights, group them via DreamView in the app — the whole room syncs to your screen.
Key Features
- For 55-65″ TVs only. 3.6-meter RGBWIC LED strip with 30 LEDs/m.
- Matter-compatible — works with Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home.
- Camera-based color matching — works with every TV content type.
- Separate-side control — make the left, right, top, and bottom of the strip behave differently in the app (e.g. top calmer, bottom more vivid).
- 4-in-1 RGBW LEDs with dedicated warm white for more natural skin tones and whites.
- Easy install — peel-and-stick adhesive on the back, camera mounts to the top of the TV with a special pad.
- Watch the installation guide video first.
💡 Pro Tip: Set the camera up in a fully dark room. Turn off all the other lights when pairing and calibrating — the camera’s white balance is much more accurate this way, and once calibrated it’ll perform well in any lighting. Also: keep the camera lens clean. A smudge on it directly affects color accuracy.
⭐ Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit my TV?
This version is for 55-65 inch TVs only. If your TV is 75″ or bigger, get the 75-85″ version. If your TV is below 50″, this won’t fit — look at smaller backlight strips without a camera.
Is this the original Govee product?
Yes — Smartio is Lebanon’s exclusive official Govee distributor. Everything we sell is brand-new authentic product with the full Govee warranty.
What’s the difference vs the 3S Pro?
The Pro has a triple-lens camera (more accurate color detection in dark scenes), much brighter LEDs, and adds 16-bit color processing. The Lite uses a single camera and is plenty for normal TV watching — the Pro is for people who want the absolute best.
How do I install it?
Easy — peel the adhesive backing off the strip and stick it to the back edge of your TV. Mount the camera on top of the TV using the included pad. Connect to power, pair in the Govee Home app, calibrate in a dark room. Total time: ~20 minutes. Video guide here.
The colors aren’t syncing properly. What’s wrong?
Almost always a calibration issue. Re-calibrate at night, in a fully dark room. Make sure the camera lens is clean and aimed straight at the screen with no obstructions. The white balance step is critical — get that right and the colors fall into place.
Can each side of the TV show different colors?
Yes — in the app, you can separate the strip into segments (top, bottom, left, right) and have each one behave independently. Useful when only one side of the screen has dominant action.
What’s the warranty?
6-month warranty against factory defects. For returns or exchanges, the item must be unopened and in original packaging.
What payment do you accept?
Cash on delivery, Whish transfer (Wish-to-Wish), or bank transfer. Pick whichever is easiest at checkout.
Is there a version for my 32″ monitor?
No camera-based version for monitors that small — the camera + sync system is designed for TVs 40″ and up. For a 32″ screen, consider a basic non-camera Govee strip light instead — it gives you color and brightness control without the screen-sync feature.
