Stick the strip on the back of your TV
Wipe the back edge of the TV. Peel the adhesive on the strip and press it down along the edges of the TV back.

Mount the camera on top of the TV
Use the included adhesive pad. Center it on top of the TV, aimed straight at the screen.

Pair in Govee Home, calibrate in the dark
Plug in the 12V adapter. Open Govee Home → Add Device → follow the QR + Wi-Fi flow. Run the calibration step at night, all other room lights off.

Pick a scene + group with other lights
Try built-in scenes (Movie, Gaming, Music). For full room sync, group with other Govee lights in DreamView.

A camera-based TV backlight in three sizes, for 40-50, 55-65 and 75-85 inch TVs. A small camera mounts on top of your TV and watches what’s on screen – Netflix, YouTube, your PlayStation, live football – and an LED strip behind the TV (2.4, 3.6 or 5 meters, by TV size) projects matching colors onto your wall in real time.
The result: your wall glows in sync with what’s happening on screen, with no perceptible delay. Movies become immersive. Gaming feels bigger. Even casual TV gets a cinema-quality atmosphere.

Pro Tip: Set the camera up in a fully dark room. Turn off all the other lights when pairing and calibrating – the camera’s white balance is much more accurate this way, and once calibrated it’ll perform well in any lighting. Also: keep the camera lens clean. A smudge on it directly affects color accuracy.

How do I install it?

Peel the adhesive on the strip and stick it to the back edge of your TV. Mount the camera on top of the TV with the included pad. Connect to power, pair in Govee Home, calibrate in a dark room. About 20 minutes total.
What's the difference vs the Pro version?

The Pro has a triple-lens camera (more accurate color matching in dark scenes), brighter LEDs, and 16-bit color processing. The Lite uses a single camera and is plenty for normal TV watching. The Pro is for people who want absolute best accuracy.
Colors aren't syncing properly. What now?
›
Almost always a calibration issue. Re-calibrate at night in a fully dark room - that's when the camera reads the screen most accurately. Also wipe the camera lens clean and make sure it's aimed straight at the screen with no obstruction.
Can each side of the TV show different colors?
›
Yes - in Govee Home, split the strip into segments (top, bottom, left, right) and run each one with its own effect. Useful when only one part of the screen has dominant action.
Will it pair with my other Govee lights?

Yes - group with floor lamps, table lamps, wall strips, light bars via DreamView in the Govee Home app. The whole room then syncs to whatever's on the TV.
What about returns and warranty?
