Product Details

Turn any ordinary appliance into a smart one. The Sonoff iPlug Gen2 (S61s) lets you switch a lamp, heater, fan or coffee maker on and off from your phone, by voice, or on a schedule — and because it speaks Matter over your normal Wi-Fi, it drops straight into whichever smart-home app you already use.

What sets the S61s apart is built-in energy monitoring. It tracks live voltage, current, power, runtime and total energy use, and — once you enter your electricity rate — turns that into a running cost in your currency. You finally see which appliance is quietly running up the bill, so you can cut it.

It’s built to be left in the wall and forgotten. PC V-0 flame-retardant casing, a relay rated for up to 10,000 cycles, plus overload, short-circuit and lightning/surge protection keep everything safe. Child-protection shutters block the pinholes, and Night Mode can switch the indicator light off on a schedule so it won’t glow in a bedroom.

Automate it the way you like: countdown timers, on/off schedules, or condition-based scenes — pair it with a presence sensor to power a lamp on when you walk in. Built on Matter, the S61s works at once with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings and Home Assistant, and is controllable from anywhere through the eWeLink app.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a hub or bridge?
No. The S61s connects directly to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi via the eWeLink app. Because it supports Matter, it also pairs straight into Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings or Home Assistant — you only need a Matter controller (e.g. a HomePod, Apple TV, Google Nest or SmartThings hub) for those ecosystems.
Can it really track my electricity cost?
Yes. It measures live voltage, current, power, runtime and total energy, and once you enter your electricity rate in the app it shows the running cost — per day or per month — for whatever is plugged in.
What can it handle? What's the max load?
It's rated 16A / 3840W on 100–240V. That covers most household appliances — heaters, fans, kettles, washing machines — but always check your appliance's rating stays under that limit.
Can I plug a power strip / extension into it?
It's not recommended. A power strip can draw more than the plug's safe limit, which risks overload and damage. Use the smart plug for a single appliance.
Will the indicator light bother me at night?
No — Night Mode lets you schedule the LED indicator to switch off during set hours, so it won't glow in a bedroom.
Does the plug itself use much power?
Almost none — standby consumption is under 0.5W, so leaving it connected won't add anything noticeable to your bill.
