Privacy Policy

Most of our orders are cash on delivery. To prepare and deliver your order, we collect your name, phone number, and delivery address. We use your phone number to confirm your order on WhatsApp before we ship, and we share your name, address, and phone number with the delivery company that brings your order to your door, so they can complete your delivery.

If you contact us, we may also keep your email address and the messages you send, so we can help you and follow up.

Sometimes customers send us photos – for example to show how a product was set up, to ask a question, or to report an issue. We use these photos only for the purpose you sent them, such as assisting you or improving our service.

We will never publish or share a photo you sent us without first asking for your permission. If we would like to feature your photo, for example on our website or social media, we will reach out and ask you, and we will only post it if you say yes.

When you give us permission to post a photo, we will make every effort to hide private details such as faces, names, addresses, and anything else that could identify you or anyone else, unless you have specifically asked us to keep them visible.

Like most websites, we collect information your browser sends when you visit the Site (“Log Data”). This may include your device’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and similar statistics. We use this to keep the Site working well and to understand what’s useful.

Cookies are small files that may include an anonymous unique identifier, sent to your browser and stored on your device. Like many sites, we use cookies to collect information. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to tell you when one is being sent. If you don’t accept cookies, some parts of the Site may not work properly.

We advertise on Google and on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). To understand whether our ads are working, we share information about activity on the Site with these two companies. This includes things like which pages and products were viewed, and when an order is placed.

When you place an order, or when you are signed in to an account with us, this information can also include a scrambled version of your email address, phone number and name. Scrambling means the details are turned into a code before they leave our Site, so these companies cannot read your actual email address or phone number. The code is used only to match the activity to an account that already exists on their side.

We may also share a scrambled list of our customers with these companies. We use this to measure our results and to keep our ads relevant, for example so we do not show you an ad for something you have already bought.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertising companies for any purpose other than the ones described here.

If you would prefer not to be included in this, message us on WhatsApp or email hello@smartioleb.com. We will remove you from any customer list we share with these companies.

You can also manage personalised ads directly in your Google account settings and in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and you can refuse cookies in your browser as described above.

The security of your personal information matters to us. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure – but we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, and we don’t keep more than we need.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes take effect once posted on this page, so please check back occasionally. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
