Open eWeLink, tap +, choose Quick Pairing. Hold the reset button on the sensor for 5 seconds until the LED blinks fast. Pairs in ~60 seconds.

Stick on door + frame
Peel the adhesive tape. Stick the main unit on the door, the magnet on the frame. They should sit within 1 cm of each other when the door is closed.

Build an automation
In eWeLink → Scene → "If DW2 opens after sunset, turn on hallway light". Or just enable push notifications for security alerts.

No - it only detects when the magnet separates from the main unit (door/window opening). For motion, get a separate motion sensor like the SNZB-03P.
Does it make a sound when triggered? ›
No built-in alarm. It sends a phone notification only. If you want an audible alert, pair it in eWeLink with a Sonoff plug + a small Wi-Fi siren or speaker.
Does it need a hub? ›
No - connects directly to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi via the eWeLink app. No bridge needed.
How long do the batteries last? ›
Typically 6–12 months. Depends on how often the door opens. The app shows battery level and warns you when low.
Will it work during EDL outages? ›
The sensor itself is battery-powered, so it keeps running. But to send a notification it needs your Wi-Fi - so if your router is down, the events queue up until the router is back.
Can I use it on a balcony door or aluminum frame? ›
Yes - works on glass, wood, aluminum, and steel. Just make sure the magnet and main unit are close enough (within ~2 cm when closed).
Can I order multiple at once? ›
Yes - order as many as you need. Each one pairs separately in eWeLink with its own name ("Front Door", "Kitchen Window", etc.).
Will this drain my Wi-Fi network with constant traffic? ›
No - it sleeps between events to save battery and bandwidth. Only sends data when the magnet separates or rejoins.
