Pair Zigbee devices
Put any Zigbee 3.0 device into pairing mode (button hold). The hub finds it in 30 seconds and adds it to the app.

Build scenes + schedules
Create automations: 'water plants every other morning', 'motion + after 8pm → turn on hall light'. Group devices for one-tap control.

The Smart Hub Gen2 Plus is a compact smart home gateway that connects ZigBee 3.0 devices to your home network over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and lets you control them from your phone or with voice assistants like Alexa and Google Home. It plugs directly into any USB-A port for power and supports up to 32 devices, giving you a central control point for lights, sensors, plugs, and more through the Third Reality app

How is this different from the Smart Bridge MZ1? ›
The Hub Gen2 Plus is a full standalone hub with its own app, scenes, and scheduling. The Bridge MZ1 forwards Zigbee devices into Matter for use in Apple Home / Google / SmartThings. Get the Hub if you want the ThirdReality app as your daily driver; get the Bridge if you're already living in Apple Home.
What devices does it work with? ›
All ThirdReality Zigbee accessories plus most other Zigbee 3.0 devices (Aqara sensors, generic Tuya Zigbee, etc). Try-and-see is reliable for any Zigbee 3.0 device.
Does it really keep working when internet drops? ›
Yes - basic scenes, schedules, and motion triggers run locally on the hub. Remote access (using the app from outside the house) needs internet, but in-house control keeps working.
How many devices can I add? ›

Does it work during EDL cuts? ›
