The Shelly 1PM Mini Gen4 is a miniature smart relay that fits inside the back box behind a normal switch and brings it online, while measuring the power it draws. You keep the same wall switch, and you get app control plus real energy data.

It speaks Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee and Matter, so it slots into any setup and works on your Wi-Fi with no hub. The relay handles up to 8A, and the built-in meter reports live consumption so you can track a heater, a pump or any circuit and build automations around real usage.

Use it to make a light smart, watch what an appliance costs to run, or trigger actions when power crosses a threshold. Through Matter it pairs with Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa, and it is a strong choice for Home Assistant users who want local control with metering.
