Pair to your Zigbee hub
Open your hub's app (ThirdReality, SmartThings, iHost CUBE). Put the kit in pairing mode by holding the button. It joins in about 30 seconds.

Place the pump in water
Set the unit beside an open water container - bucket, bottle, tray. Drop the intake into the water.

Run the tubing to your plants
Lay the 3m tubing to the pots you want watered. Use the included anti-backflow valve at the pump end.

Set the schedule
In the app, set how long and how often. Optional: add a soil sensor and tell the kit to skip cycles when soil is wet.

ThirdReality Smart Watering Kit

An automated indoor watering system that waters your plants on a schedule or when the soil is dry (when paired with the ThirdReality Soil Moisture Sensor). It uses Zigbee (a wireless smart home protocol that connects devices through a hub) to connect through a ThirdReality Hub and comes with 3 meters of tubing to reach multiple pots.

Powered by 4 x AA batteries – no power outlet needed near your plants.

Yes - scheduled watering works perfectly on its own. The soil sensor just adds the option to skip watering when soil is already moist.
What container do I use for the water? ›
Any open container - a 5L bottle, a bucket, even a small tray. The pump sits inside with the tubing running out to your plants.
How many plants can one kit water? ›
Up to 5-6 small pots reachable within 3 meters of tubing. For more, run a splitter on the line or use a second kit.
How long do the batteries last? ›
Several months of typical use - depends on how often it waters. You'll get a low battery alert in the app before it stops.
Will it work during EDL cuts? ›
Yes - the kit itself is on batteries. Your hub needs power too, so as long as the hub is on UPS or generator, scheduled watering keeps running.
Can I use it for outdoor balcony plants? ›
Yes - keep the unit and battery compartment out of direct rain. Tuck it under an overhang or inside a small box for protection.
What if it leaks or breaks? ›
