After an EDL cut: the device reconnects to Wi-Fi on its own when power returns, and the app's Power-On State setting lets you choose whether it comes back ON, OFF, or exactly as it was.

Turn off the breaker
Cut power, open the wall plate. Identify Live, Neutral, and the switch's load wire.

Wire the dimmer
Connect L (Live) and N (Neutral) to the dimmer's input. Connect the load wire (to lamp) to the output. Tuck into the back-box.

Pair via Matter
Open Apple Home (or eWeLink) → scan the Matter QR on the device. Pairs in 2 minutes across all your ecosystems.

Build mood scenes
Create "Movie Night", "Dinner", "Goodnight" scenes in eWeLink or Apple Home. Group multiple dimmers for whole-home control.

Is it compatible with Apple Home?

Yes - fully Apple HomeKit compatible via Matter. Dimming controls appear right in the Apple Home app. Siri also handles dimming commands: "Hey Siri, set living room to 30%".
Will it work with my LED bulbs?

Most dimmable LEDs work great - up to 200 VA total load. Make sure your bulbs are labeled "dimmable" (cheap non-dimmable LEDs flicker or buzz). For incandescent or halogen, up to 400W.
Can I install it myself?

Basic electrical skills are enough - same install as a regular MINI smart switch. Turn off breaker, wire L+N to input, switch wires to the dimmer's input. Any electrician handles it in 10 minutes if you're not comfortable.
Does it need a neutral wire?

Yes - like the regular MINIR4. If your older Lebanese home has no neutral at the switch box, you'd need to run one to use this dimmer.
Will it work during EDL cuts?
›
Set Power-on State to "Last State" in eWeLink. When power returns, the dimmer comes back at the brightness it was. If you're on generator, it keeps working as long as power is supplied.
Can I still use my wall switch manually?

Yes - the wall switch keeps working. Press to toggle on/off, hold to dim up/down (depending on your switch type). All controls - phone, voice, wall - sync the same brightness.
Are the manuals in Arabic?

What happens if my LED bulb flickers when dimmed?

Usually means the bulb isn't truly dimmable, or the dim level is below its minimum. Try a different dimmable LED (Philips, Osram, or Govee dimmable bulbs work well), or set the minimum dim level higher in the app (e.g., 10% instead of 1%).
