Check your socket size
Look at your old bulb - "E14" or "E27" is printed on the base. This is E14 (the smaller one). Get the E27 version if yours is the bigger screw type.

Screw in the bulbs
Power off the fixture. Screw the Govee bulbs in like any other bulb. Switch power back on - they boot up in default warm white.

Pair in Govee Home
Open the app, tap +, follow the on-screen pairing. Pair both bulbs and rename them ("chandelier left", "chandelier right").

Group + add to Apple Home
Group both bulbs into one tile in Govee Home for one-tap control. Scan the Matter QR code to add the group to Apple Home.

What socket type is this? ›
E14 - the smaller candelabra base used in chandeliers and decorative fixtures. If your existing bulb has the bigger screw base (E27), this won't fit; get the E27 version instead. If you're not sure, look at the bottom of your old bulb - "E14" or "E27" is usually printed.
Why is my bulb not lighting up properly? ›
Two common causes. First: if your original bulb was longer than the Govee one, the lamp socket may not contact the new bulb's tip - a thin metal piece or E14 adapter fixes it. Second: if voltage is unstable (low EDL voltage), the bulb may flicker. Solid 220V from the generator usually fixes that immediately.
Can I exchange it for a different screw type? ›
Unopened, yes - full exchange. Once a bulb has been screwed in and tested, we can't take it back per our return policy (regulatory requirement for opened electronics). Best to check your socket type before ordering.
Do you sell compatible lamps? ›
We do carry several Govee floor lamps that take this style of bulb internally. We also recommend a small E14 ↔ E27 converter if your fixture is the wrong size - just message us with a photo of the socket.
Will Matter pairing really put it in Apple Home? ›
Yes. Scan the Matter QR code printed in the box with the Apple Home app, follow the prompts. The bulb shows up in Apple Home, Google Home, and Alexa simultaneously.
What happens during an EDL cut? ›
Like any lamp, no power = no light. When EDL returns, the bulb defaults to "on" at last color - handy if you want the lamp to come back on with the same color it had before.
