Make sure your bridge is online
Sonoff Zigbee Bridge Pro, NSPanel Pro, or iHost — already in eWeLink. If you don't have one yet, add it first.

Pair the sensor
Open eWeLink → tap your bridge → Add Sub-Device → put the sensor in pairing mode (press the side button 5 seconds). It shows up in under 30 seconds.

Mount it
Stick the magnetic base in the corner of the room about 2 m up. Pop the sensor onto the magnet. You can angle it freely afterward.

Build an automation
eWeLink → Scene → "When motion detected → turn on hallway light" → "Turn off after 3 min of no motion". Save. The hallway is now smart.

Corner of the room about 2 m up usually gives the best coverage of a hallway or living room. The magnetic base + adhesive sticker means no drilling required.
How do I extend battery life? ›
Increase the "detection cooldown" time in the app — every few minutes instead of every 30 seconds. Triggers less often, battery lasts longer. Default works fine for most cases.
Can it work with Home Assistant? ›
Yes — flash a Sonoff ZBDongle-E and add the sensor through Zigbee2MQTT. Full local control with no cloud.
