Peel the 3M backing. Press each strip along the back edge of the TV, using the corner connectors at each turn.

No - this is the Bluetooth-only version. It doesn't connect to Wi-Fi, so it can't talk to Alexa, Google, or HomeKit. If you want voice + ecosystem integration, look at the Govee TV Backlight 3 Lite or 3S Pro (Wi-Fi versions).
Will it work during EDL outages? ›
It draws power from your TV's USB port. If the TV is on (via generator/UPS power), the backlight is on. If the TV is off, the backlight is off. No separate power concern.
Will it work with Lebanon's 220V mains? ›
It runs off 5V USB, not 220V. As long as your TV is plugged in correctly (and the USB port outputs the standard 5V/500mA), it works perfectly.
Can I install it myself? ›
Yes - peel the adhesive backing, stick around the TV's back edges, connect corner pieces. Plug into the USB. 5-10 minutes total.
Will the adhesive hold on the back of my TV? ›
Generally yes - 3M adhesive holds well on smooth TV backings. For textured plastic, clean with isopropyl alcohol first. If the strip falls off, message us for replacement adhesive.
Why doesn't it sync with my TV's actual on-screen colors? ›
This Bluetooth version doesn't read the HDMI feed - it just reacts to sound (music sync) and shows colors you pick. For HDMI-synced "TV-color follows screen" behavior, get the Govee TV Backlight 3 Lite or 3S Pro instead.
