Wi-Fi cameras require a 2.4 GHz network. The camera's companion app and your router must both be on the same band during setup. Most routers broadcast 2.4 + 5 GHz under the same name — temporarily disable 5 GHz if pairing fails.

PoE cameras need a PoE switch or NVR with PoE ports. Each camera typically ships with a 20 m Ethernet cable. Check the "What's in the Box" section on each product page to confirm.

Does the power adapter come included in the box?
Check the product page — every camera lists this explicitly under "What's in the Box". Most WiFi indoor cams include a USB power adapter. Outdoor PoE cameras do not (power comes from the network cable). 4G solar cameras include a solar panel instead of an adapter.
Do I need an SD card? What size?
Recommended — 64 GB or 128 GB Class 10 microSD. Most cameras don't ship with one — you can grab the Kingston 128 GB Canvas Select Plus card on our site for around $13. PoE cameras can record to the NVR instead of an SD card.
Can I check the camera remotely from outside Lebanon?
Yes — all WiFi and 4G cameras work over the internet via their companion app (eWeLink / Wyze / Smart Life). PoE cameras work too when the NVR is connected to a router. No VPN required.
Does night vision show color or black and white?
Depends on the model. Look at the "Night" badge on each card — "Color" uses a low-light sensor for full-color night vision, "Dual (Color + IR)" switches between modes, and "Infrared" shows black-and-white at night.
Can multiple family members access the same camera?
Yes. The owner shares access from inside the app — usually 4 to 8 users depending on the brand. No extra cost. Family abroad can also check the camera anytime.
Does the camera record continuously or only on motion?
Look at the "Recording" badge on each PoE card. WiFi and 4G battery cameras default to motion-only (to save battery + storage). Wired WiFi cameras and all PoE cameras support both motion and continuous 24/7 recording.
