Lebanese homes run on rooftop tanks, and Lebanese tanks run on guesswork. This sensor replaces the guesswork. It sits on the tank lid, pings the water surface with ultrasound every fraction of a second, and shows you live levels (percentage, depth in metres, trend over time) right on your phone.
Set thresholds once and the Tuya / Smart Life app handles the rest. Get a push notification when the tank drops below 20% so you can call the water truck before you run dry. Get another when it’s about to overflow so you can shut the inlet. Link it to a Tuya smart plug and it can auto-cut the pump for you.
The sensor uses non-contact ultrasonic measurement, which means it never touches the water. No corrosion, no fouling, no probes to scrub. Works with fresh water, oil, diesel, fuel — anything with a flat liquid surface inside a closed tank up to about 3 metres deep. The probe head is IP67-rated so spray and condensation aren’t a problem.
Setup is the usual Tuya story: plug in the included 5 V adapter, open the Smart Life app, scan, name it after the tank, done. Lebanon-friendly EU plug included. Once paired, the device shows up in Google Home and Alexa via the standard Tuya integration.

It works on any liquid with a flat surface. The reading is based on ultrasonic distance, so the type of liquid doesn't matter as long as the surface reflects sound back.
The sensor needs Wi-Fi to push readings to the Tuya cloud and trigger alerts. Without internet, no live reading and no notifications. For pure offline tank monitoring, this product isn't the right fit.
