What's the difference between the eWeLink and Smart Life versions? ›
The TX Ultimate runs on eWeLink - the same app you use for other Sonoff devices. The "Smart Life vs eWeLink" question usually comes up for the Tongou breaker, which has both variants. This switch is eWeLink only.
Will it fit my wall box? ›
This is the 120 Type - fits rectangular wall boxes common in Lebanese newer construction. If you have square 86 Type boxes, look at the 86 Type version instead.
Do I need an electrician? ›
Most people are comfortable with this - turn off the breaker, swap out the old switch, wire L + N + load to the labeled terminals. If you've never opened a wall switch before, an electrician handles it in 15 minutes.
Does it need a neutral wire? ›
Yes. If your switch box has no neutral, you'd need to run one or use a different switch (the ZBMINIL2 doesn't need a neutral).
Will it work during EDL cuts? ›
Set Power-on State to "Last State" in eWeLink. When power returns, the switch goes back to its previous on/off state. Works fine on generator power too.
Can I customize what swipe gestures do? ›
Yes - in eWeLink, map swipe-left, swipe-right, double-tap, and long-press to custom scenes. Common setups: swipe-left dims, swipe-right brightens, double-tap triggers "Goodnight".
Can I change the LED edge color? ›
Yes - pick any color in eWeLink. Different colors per scene, dim levels, even off-when-light-is-on if you prefer.
