Many colours on one string
Each part of the string can show its own colour at the same time, so you get bands and moving effects, not one flat colour.
They move with the music
Turn on music mode and the lights change with the songs playing in the room. Most of our Christmas lights have it.
On and off by themselves
Set a time in the Govee Home app. The lights turn on in the evening and off at night, even when you are out.
Works with Alexa and Google
Change them by voice, or group them with your other Govee lights. Many models also work with Apple Home.

Christmas lights: common questions
Can I use them outside in the rain?
Yes. The String Lights 2S, Icicle Lights, Curtain Lights 2 and the Cone Tree are rated IP65, so rain is fine. The Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 and the Clear Bulb String Lights are rated IP67. Keep the power adapter under a roof or indoors, with the cable running out.
Do I need an electrician?
No. You hang them and plug them into a normal socket. The Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 are fixed under the roof edge with clips and tape, still with no wiring.
Which app do they use?
All of them use the free Govee Home app on iPhone and Android. You can put several Govee lights in one group and change them together. Most models also work with Alexa and Google Home.
Do I set them up again after the electricity goes off?
No. In the Govee Home app you can set the lights to come back to the last colours they were showing, so when the electricity returns they continue as before.
Can I keep them after Christmas?
Yes. Switch to warm white for every day, and back to colours for birthdays, Eid, New Year or a party.
