Lay all 6 panels on the floor in the shape you want. Connect them with the splicing pieces to test the chain. This is your final shape - adhesive is strong.

Clean the wall
Wipe with a dry cloth. Adhesive sticks best to smooth painted drywall. Not paint that's flaking, not wallpaper, not rough plaster.

Peel and press
Stick one panel at a time, working out from the controller. Press firmly for 30 seconds to set the adhesive.

Plug in and pair
Plug the controller into a 220V socket. Open Govee Home, pair, pick a scene. Group with other Govee lights for DreamView sync.

Alexa and Google - yes, link your Govee account in those apps. eWeLink - no native integration, but a scene running through Alexa can be triggered from eWeLink scenes.
Do I need an electrician? ›
No - peel-and-stick on a clean wall. Plug the controller into a wall socket. About 30-45 minutes for a 6-panel layout.
Can I rearrange the layout later? ›
Yes, but the adhesive is strong - moving panels typically means replacing the adhesive strips (extras included in the box, or available from Govee). Plan your layout before you peel.
Will EDL cuts damage them? ›
No - when power returns, they remember the last state. Plug them into the same socket as your other smart devices so everything recovers together.
Can I buy more panels later? ›
Yes - Govee sells expansion packs. The controller supports multiple chained panels (check the model's max in the Govee app).
Is the manual in Arabic? ›
The printed manual is in English. If you need help in Arabic, message us on WhatsApp - our team speaks Arabic.
Will it work on textured / stone walls? ›
Adhesive sticks best on smooth painted drywall. On stone, rough plaster, or wallpaper, the adhesive may fail - use double-sided mounting tape or removable command strips instead.
