How It Works

Connect HDMI through the Sync Box
Plug your PC or console into the Sync Box's HDMI input. Run another HDMI from the Sync Box output to your monitor. Power on.

Stick the LED strip behind the monitor
Wipe the back of the monitor with a dry cloth. Peel the strip backing and press it around the back edges in the marked path for 27-34" sizes.

Pair in Govee Home
Open Govee Home → add device → follow Wi-Fi pairing (2.4 GHz). Calibrate the screen corners once so the strip knows where each color comes from.

Pick a sync mode + group
Choose Video, Music, or Scene mode. For full-room reactive lighting, group with other Govee lights and enable DreamView.

Does it need an electrician?

No - plug the Sync Box into the wall, plug HDMI between Sync Box and monitor, peel and stick the LED strip on the back of the monitor. Pair in the app. About 20 minutes start to finish.
What happens after a power cut?

When 220V returns (mains or generator), the Sync Box reboots and reconnects to Wi-Fi automatically. Last scene resumes. If your router takes longer to come back, the Sync Box waits for it.
