USB into your Raspberry Pi, NUC, or Home Assistant Yellow. Use a 1.5 m USB extension to move it away from the host for cleaner signal.

Add the integration
Home Assistant → Settings → Devices → Add Integration → ZHA (or Zigbee2MQTT addon). Pick the dongle as the serial port.

Pair your first device
Put a Sonoff SNZB sensor (or any Zigbee device) into pairing mode. Watch it show up in your dashboard within 30 seconds.

Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus is a universal Zigbee USB stick. It can be used as a Zigbee gateway in Home Assistant, openHAB, Zigbee2MQTT, or other open-source platforms to locally control all your Zigbee devices, so you don’t need to invest in different brands’ Zigbee hubs, all you need is a universal gateway – Dongle Plus!
The dongle plus has a wide range of supported devices, such as ZBMINI-L, SNZB01, SNZB02, SNZB03, SNZB04, S26R2ZB, S40 Lite ZB. Dongle Plus is pre-flashed with coordinator firmware, you can also flash router firmware to extend the network range.

It's USB-powered, so it draws power from the host computer. If your host is on a UPS / generator, the dongle and your Zigbee automations keep running through EDL cuts. Plain Wi-Fi smart-home setups can't say the same.

Can I extend the range?

Difference vs the newer MG24 Plus dongle?

Can I use it with Sonoff iHost?
