How does it work exactly? ›
It's a passive NFC sticker — no battery, no power. When you tap your phone on it, your phone reads the tag and fires whatever scene or automation you programmed. Programming is done once in eWeLink (or via iOS Shortcuts / Android NFC apps), then it's set.
Will it work with my phone? ›
Any NFC-enabled phone. iPhone XS or later with iOS 13+, or any Android phone with NFC (most from the last 8 years). Older iPhones (without iOS 13) only read NFC, can't trigger automations.
Can I stick it on the fridge or car dashboard? ›
Yes — it has an anti-metal layer that prevents interference. Works on metal surfaces where regular NFC stickers fail.
Do I need an electrician? ›
No — it's a sticker. Peel the backing, press onto a clean surface, done. The smart magic happens through your phone.
Does it work during EDL cuts? ›
The tag itself never needs power. The scene it triggers (e.g. turning on a smart switch) does need power — so if EDL is off and the switch isn't on backup power, the scene won't fire. But the tag itself is always working.
Can I re-program the tag later? ›
Yes — re-write it any time using eWeLink or any NFC writer app. The same tag can trigger different scenes at different times.
Is the manual in Arabic? ›
Yes — bilingual Arabic + English.
Can multiple people use the same tag? ›
Yes — each family member sets up their own scene on the same tag. When Dad taps, his "home from work" scene runs; when kid taps, their "do homework" scene runs.
