Yes — the MINI-ZBRBS is Zigbee, not Wi-Fi. You need either a Sonoff Zigbee Bridge Pro or an NSPanel Pro (which has a Zigbee hub built in).

The switch sometimes disappears from the app — what’s happening?

This is an occasionally-reported issue with Zigbee devices. Most common cause: weak signal between the switch and the hub. Move the hub closer to the switch, or install another Zigbee device between them as a repeater. If it keeps happening, message us — we’ll help troubleshoot or replace under warranty.

Can the NSPanel Pro control it?

Yes — the NSPanel Pro has a Zigbee hub built in, so the MINI-ZBRBS pairs directly to it without needing a separate Bridge Pro.

What’s the difference between this and the MINI-RBS (Wi-Fi version)?

Same physical product, different protocol. Wi-Fi version connects directly to your router (no hub needed) but loads up your Wi-Fi network. Zigbee version needs a hub but adds to a mesh that’s more reliable for many devices.
