Hold the sensor button for 5 seconds - it blinks. Open eWeLink → bridge → "Add Sub-device". The SNZB-02WD appears in seconds.

Stick it to the wall, mount on the balcony, or place inside a greenhouse. No power outlet needed - the CR2477 battery powers it.

Do I need a Zigbee bridge? ›
Yes - Zigbee sensors don't reach Wi-Fi on their own. Pair it with a Sonoff Zigbee Bridge Pro, NSPanel Pro, or iHost. If you don't have one yet, pick the bundle with a bridge.
Can I change the unit from Fahrenheit to Celsius? ›
Yes - in eWeLink, open the device → settings → temperature unit. Choose Celsius or Fahrenheit.
How long is the sensor cable? ›
The cable is 50 cm - enough to position the probe outside while keeping the main body in a sheltered spot if needed.
How long does the battery last? ›
Several months to a year+ on the included CR2477 coin cell, depending on update frequency. eWeLink shows battery percentage.
What's the range from the bridge? ›
About 10 meters indoor / line-of-sight. Walls and metal reduce that. If your bridge is far from where you'll place the sensor, add a Sonoff Zigbee plug or switch between them as a repeater.
Can I extra-protect it with my own IP65 box? ›
Yes - putting it inside any IP65-rated enclosure adds extra protection. Just make sure the box doesn't trap heat or insulate the sensor from real ambient conditions.
Can it trigger a fan or other appliance? ›
Not directly - set up an automation in eWeLink: "If humidity > 75% → turn on Sonoff smart plug". The plug then powers the fan or device.
