Pair in Smart Life
Open Smart Life on your phone, tap +, choose 'Security & Sensor' → 'Gas Detector'. Follow the Wi-Fi prompt.

Test + automate
Press the self-test button — the siren should sound. In Smart Life, set up notifications and any automations (e.g. cut the gas circuit via smart breaker if a leak is detected).

Will it work during EDL outages? ›
Yes, as long as your generator or a backup power source is feeding the outlet. The sensor needs continuous power to detect leaks. Consider a UPS or generator-fed outlet for the kitchen if 24/7 coverage matters.

Typical gas sensor lifespan is 5+ years. The unit will self-test periodically and alert you if it needs replacement. Press the test button monthly to confirm it's working.
What gases does it detect? ›
LPG (most common in Lebanon), methane, and natural gas. It doesn't detect CO (carbon monoxide) — for CO you'd need a dedicated CO detector.
