Each channel taps into the circuit it monitors — Live in/out plus the neutral. The 4Relay reads current via a built-in CT.

Pair + name in eWeLink
Pair the main unit via QR. Each channel auto-appears with a default name ("Channel 1", etc.) — rename them to match your circuits.

Sonoff SPM Main Unit — Stackable Power Meter Controller

The Sonoff SPM Main Unit is the brain of the SPM system. It connects to your Wi-Fi and communicates with the SPM 4Relay modules to provide smart control and power monitoring for your entire electrical panel.

You need one SPM Main Unit, and then add as many SPM 4Relay modules as you need (up to 32 units = 128 channels).

Does the main unit work alone? ›
No — the main unit is the brain, but it doesn't monitor or switch anything on its own. You need at least one SPM 4Relay module connected. The main + 1 module = 4 channels.
How many channels can I monitor with a full system? ›
One main unit supports up to 32 SPM 4Relay modules. Each module covers 4 channels. 32 × 4 = 128 channels total — enough for a large home, shop, or small office.
Is it easy to install? ›
DIN-rail mounting is straightforward and clips into a standard Lebanese breaker panel. Wiring to circuits requires basic electrical work — most installs use an electrician for the panel side, then you do the eWeLink setup yourself.
Will it work during EDL outages? ›
The SPM itself needs mains power to function. If your panel is fed by a generator or UPS, it keeps running. Otherwise it powers back up once EDL returns. With an SD card inserted, locally-saved data syncs to the cloud once Wi-Fi is back.
What about heavy loads like a water heater or AC? ›
Use the SPM 4Relay channels for circuits up to 20A each. For heavier loads (e.g. central AC, well pump), the 4Relay can switch a contactor that handles the high current — same automation, safer wiring.
Can I control individual channels by voice? ›
Yes — each channel appears as a separate device in eWeLink and gets its own Alexa / Google name. "Hey Google, turn off the kitchen circuit."
Is there a warranty? ›
Yes — covered under Smartio's standard manufacturer warranty against factory defects. Damage from electrical surges isn't covered; a panel-side surge protector is strongly recommended.
Is the eWeLink app in Arabic? ›
Yes — eWeLink supports Arabic. Switch the language in your phone's system or the app settings.
