Common questions.

Which model should I buy?

If you already use Sonoff devices (or just want to use the eWeLink app), pick the eWeLink model. If you're running Tuya, Smart Life, or any Tuya-rebranded smart device, pick the Tuya model. The hardware is otherwise the same — same 63A capacity, same protections, same form factor.

Can I install this myself?

If you're not comfortable working inside your electrical panel, hire an electrician — it's a 10-minute job for them. The breaker mounts on standard 35mm DIN rail just like any other modern breaker. We can recommend an installer in your area on WhatsApp.

Does it work with generator and EDL switching?

Yes. The breaker accepts AC 90–300V, which covers both EDL voltage and most generator output. It will keep working through automatic switchovers. The over/under voltage protection actually helps here — it can cut the circuit if your generator dips out of safe range.

What happens if my internet goes down?

The breaker still works as a regular breaker — all the local protections (overload, leakage, short-circuit, voltage) stay active. You only lose the remote control and scheduling features until Wi-Fi comes back. Local push-button on / off on the breaker itself also keeps working.

Is the warranty handled in Lebanon?

Yes — 6-month warranty, handled by Smartio Lebanon. No shipping abroad. If you ever have a problem, we'll replace or refund.

Will it work with my existing Sonoff / Tuya scenes?

Yes. Once paired, the breaker shows up as a regular switch in your app and can be used in any automation, scene, or routine you already have. Voice control through Alexa or Google Assistant works the same way.
